Product Description

The Softforms® extruded aluminum profile STR-050-050, 1/2" wide X 1/2" deep. The "Z" Shadow Bead used to trim around door jambs, window frames and base molding. This profile has a continuous integral fin for surface contact to conventionally installed gypsum drywall. The fin is 7/8" wide and is tapered to the edge. The tapered fins are punched with staggered holes to accept standard screw fastening. A Series of continuous grooves are extruded into the face of the fins and provide a greater bonding surface. The Softforms® extruded aluminum profiles are factory primed painted with an etched corrosion-resistant primer compatible with materials used in conjunction with commercial interiors, i.e.: joint compound, latex and enamel paints and wall covering adhesives. Can be used with 1/2" or  5/8" Drywall.
