Fire Rated 093X-V Control Expansion Bead

The 093X-V Composite control joint with factory applied intumescent tape to the back side of the control joint. Tested according to UL-2079 "Test for Fire Resistance of Building Joint Systems" and is used to relieve the stress of expansion and contraction of drywall interior partitions, ceilings running in a horizontal or vertical direction, in both metal or wood framing on one or both sides of the wall.  The 093X-V is pink in color to quickly indicate fire rated materials and features a co-extruded flexible PVC center allowing a full ⅜" in controlled movement. Tear off strips protect the center from mud, and act as a guide for a taping knife. Offered at 92" for best shipping rate. Give us a call if you need 96" of 120" Lengths.
